We
continue with the route of ALL Costa Rica DESTINATIONS
from the Arenal Volcano and the lagoon during
one hour; then we arrive to the Nuevo Arenal
and then Tilarán. In Tilarán,
a short cut exists and we can shorten our way towards Monteverde
but the road is only for 4X4, whenever the river can be bordered.
A vehicle that is not 4 x 4 is not recommended because of
the bad conditions of the way. This route is special to amuse
yourself in a 4x4 car.
Monteverde is the kingdom of the cloudy forest, the climate
is cold, and rainy because the mountains almost touch the
sky.
The
Valverde property is between the oldest properties
of the Monteverde community. The owners are
the Valverde family, one of first in settling down in the
zone. In the hotel grounds, still takes place coffee growing
for the exportation, as well as some of the vegetables that
are used in the restaurant.
